Some Good Clicks

All these are my college time pictures. The second pic is my college from where I did my masters, it has a satire, a typical irony in the snap draws me to it. It reads, "Centre for Development Communication" and the boy shows the development!!!!

The Chana photo is really a blend of colors.

The dog used to stay at our college campus, my classmates never fed a hungry me, but for the dog, rotis and biscuits were all showered by the animal lovers.

About the first snap, I am all hearts!!

Please give the feedbacks.

Love,
A.

Stop Gender Discrimination

I am sure most of us agree to this.. Why are girls so much loved? What is the fault, or should I say offense/crime of the boys?

Yeah, this FB snap says a stupid post of a girl who likes puppies is liked and super liked by a whooping 153 people and commented on by 101 people. And a post saying the poor guy was nominated for the Nobel Prize, THE NOBEL PRIZE is liked by 1 person (that too may be by himself only) and commented by a dry Cool Man comment. Rofl!

What an achievement girls! But this aint the way to go guys. Stop pampering girls, earn self respect..

Stop Gender Bias.. Help the boys, they too need love, care and pampers.. (Not the diapers, eh...)

Someone Please Ask These Peacocks To Shut Up..

Hey,
Hope this post will find you all in high spirits! Rains since Sunday had become a literal suffocating and frustrating factor. And as for me, it was a sheer bad experience.

Sunday - Most of us had plans for the Friendship's Day. I had none. Was in the bed till as late as 11 in the morning when i was woken up by my darling Heli, who had come to Ahmedabad (precisely at my flat) with a lovely blue, white and red flowers' bouquet to wish me. (Yeah, the satin ribbons and the friendship belts have already shifted to bouquets!) I was pleasantly surprised and after the usual hugs/kisses session, I rushed to the kitchen to cook up some Maggi. What was in store was a mentally hectic day. Heli had her SPIPA entrance test at the extreme end of the city called KK Nagar. Me and my other sweetheart Priya went to pick up Heli from her examination centre at 4, had 5 wafer packets waiting for her, and by the time she was done with her exams, it had started to pour down heavily. We were waiting for it to slow down as my poor vehicle had to bear with 3 idiots and a lot of water. (However Priya was excited about singing 'Jaane Nahi Denge Tujhe....' as we had to drive back in triples!) In the meantime, we had made boats out of Heli's question paper and enjoyed each moment of the wait. However the next journey of 20 minutes to my PG took us a whooping 1 and a half hours. At evening 6, we had our lunch, which was again Maggi and Coffee with some Jalebis! Heli and Priya tried to fit into my clothes and postponed going back to their destinations. Pheeewww.. Finally it ended with Honest Ki Paun Bhaji at 1 am.

The week days then were even worse as there was a lot of water logging everywhere, a lot of frustrations and depressions. Tuesday I was supposed to vacate my PG and shift to another pre-decided place. But due to rains again, I was stuck up after office and had to go to my uncle's place. So am left with a room worse than Government Guest Houses. (Am in search of one, please revert if you know about one) Next two days too, my vehicle did not support and stopped working! All my plans of shopping were in vain and till date all my jobs are pending.

But finally, am going HOME tomorrow and things will soon fall in place. This blog is dedicated to all those who helped me during these problems and also to those who dint (because of them, I am learning to be independent)

As for the peacocks, they keep shouting on the top of their voices and so it keeps on raining. And please people like my sis Kalgi, don't give me that shit ki 'When it does not rain, you keep asking for it and when it does, you complaint.' Yaar, this is the least we can do, cribbing about everything and its fun!

Loadsa love,
Aditi.

THEN AND NOW

I know, too long since I wrote anything. Too much going on and ya, you know what, the recent development being that i would be homeless as my p.g owner has politely asked us to find a better place as he wants to sell the flat! (I know, exclamation mark should not be used here, but am truly amazed as to this sudden shock)

By then and now, I definitely mean the changes that I have faced in my day to day life.

Then I was a carefree li'l girl who had to ask for a ten rupee note to buy wafers from the canteen of the school. Now, I earn.

Then I had just left home to settle in Ahmedabad for a short period of time to study. Now I work for Ahemdabad.

Then it was hostel to college, friends and outings. Now it is office, colleagues and work.

Then it was tension about studies, ranks and grades. Now its about money and survival of the fittest.

Then it was about fighting with roommates for who will prepare the tea. Now there aint time for tea.

Then it was studying late in the nights, just to have maggi at 2 am. Now its about sleeping early for the office schedule tomorrow.

Then it was about a jeans not washed for a week. Now its about being formal.

Then it was about lack of money. Now its about lack of friends.

Then it was about sleepless nights, chats, fun and flirts. Now its the same scheduled routines.

Then it was bunking classes. Now cannot even think to bunk.

Then it was rushing home at every possible holidays. Now its a long wait.

Then the only kid was me and my bro. Now its my darling nephew.

I really miss my those days. I know am sounding over nostalgic.

But the huge point is even we keep on changing with situations. I wonder, am I the same?

Inspirations....

Hey Hi,
Monday mornings, why do they come? Its so difficult to get back to the same office and routines.. Wish we can change jobs/colleges every week and meet new people!! :p Well I just referred to my cousin's first website, http://inspirationkingdom.com/ and found that its really great. So i thought I will share this with you..

And to add to this inspirational pour, i read my another cousin's email, which also I will post here.. (Sorry Tarakbhai, but sharing is a good habit!!)

Excerpts:

Hi Aditi! how is the new work?

I suggest that, at least initially, you write blog posts more frequently and regularly. Writing, as you might already know, is an acquired skill. You may not have come across the term '
conceptual economy', but that is where we are heading. There was the industrial age where we founded industries and factories and worked with machines (but needed hands to work those machines, and to make buildings, etc). Soon the blue-collar jobs moved to Asian countries. Then there was (is?) the information age where IT was the king. We had 'knowledge workers' and the white-collar jobs moved to Asia ("My job just got Banglored."). Now we have (it has already started) the conceptual age where the world belongs to those who can put forth their ideas, opinion and thoughts to people in any medium.

Read the conceptual economy article and ask any questions that you may have... Cheers:)
